Diminish Morelli, one of nine siblings who left Italy by walking searching for work, began offering dessert from a truck in Portstewart in 1911. It sold so well that in 1914 he opened a bistro, and albeit today Morelli’s frozen yogurt has outlets in Harrods, Dubai and Monte Carlo’s, despite everything it situated in Portstewart and still pretty much as mainstream with local people and visitors alike. In 2011, 2,728 of them commended the centennial by setting a world record for the longest chain of individuals licking dessert.
