Leicester Square, London

Market took the name of the second Earl of Leicester, who in 1631 demanded the construction of a palace here. In the surroundings there are some of the most popular theaters in the city. Here lies the heart of London’s theater and a oasis rises statue of William Shakespeare (1874).
